These words, penned by an ancient Israelite author, are as poignant today as they were when recorded. They were written about ancient Israel, God’s chosen people:
Psalm 106:36-42 (NKJV)
They [God’s people Israel] served their idols, Which became a snare to them. (37) They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons, (38) And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood. (39) Thus they were defiled by their own works, And played the harlot by their own deeds. (40) Therefore the wrath of the LORD was kindled against His people, So that He abhorred His own inheritance. (41) And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, And those who hated them ruled over them. (42) Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were brought into subjection under their hand.
Just as God blessed Israel and placed the nation in her own land, the land of Canaan, so He has blessed His people, who are believers in His Son, Jesus Christ, by giving them the land now known as the United States of America. Though not the only Christian nation in the world, and not the only place where Christians have flourished, it is a place of major significance in the world.
Historically, the USA began when Christian separatists, who wanted to have the freedom of conscience to worship God without the government regulating their worship, had moved to Leiden, in Holland. Their journey began at their home town of Scrooby in Nottinghamshire, which is still a thriving town in England, because it was illegal there to worship outside of the official government church, the Church of England. In Holland, they had freedom to worship in their own church, which was separate from the Church of England.
After several years in Leiden, the separatists decided that the culture in Holland was not a good fit for their Christian lifestyle. Thus they made arrangements to move to New World. After securing the means to travel to the New World, a portion of them traveled there on the Mayflower. They ended up building their town, Plymouth, at Cape Cod, where they could worship God as they believed the Bible commanded them to. These Pilgrims considered themselves to be much like Israel as that nation left Egypt, wandered in the wilderness, and finally came into the Promised Land. So their leaving England, sojourning in the wilderness of Holland, travelling to the Promised Land in North America, and settling there, was similar to the ancient Israelites entering Canaan.
Because of their faith in God, and the faith of other Christians moving to the New World, He blessed their endeavors and our nation grew and prospered under His blessings. Under God’s blessing, we won a war of independence against the most powerful military in the world. We survived a major civil war that threatened to end our country. As long as our country honored God and His people, who are Christians, He continued to bless us.
Yet, just as the ancient Israelites did, our country began to turn against God. The Supreme Court, in Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 143 U.S. 457 (1892), in its opinion, Justice Josiah Brewer wrote the words, “These, and many other matters which might be noticed, add a volume of unofficial declarations to the mass of organic utterances that this is a Christian nation.”
In his 1905 book titled: “The United States: A Christian Nation”, Justice Brewer clarified that Christianity is not the official religion of the USA, and that not everyone in the USA was a Christian. We were not officially a Christian nation but we were considered a Christian nation because of the influence Christians had on the nation.
Since that time, the influence of Christianity on our country gradually lessened. Christianity and its influence have now been officially and legally expelled from society. The “Separation of Church and State” became law through the Supreme Court decision, Everson v. Board of Education, 330 U.S. 1, in 1947. Several other court decisions have removed prayer and the Bible from public schools and basically removed any vestiges of Christian opinion, thought, or influence from our country.
At first, only USA officialdom eliminated Christianity from official government managed areas, such as federal buildings, schools, post offices, etc. Consequently, much of the public have bought into the “separation of church and state” fallacy, and now Christianity is considered hateful, intolerant, and bigoted by many. In other words, the nation has turned away from God.
Since then we have seen 57 million+ babies murdered in the womb because of our worship of the god of promiscuous sex and the number keeps climbing. We worship the god of money, the god of power, the god of materialism, etc. Though these are not really gods, we do worship these things. We have rejected Yahweh God in favor of all these worldly pursuits.
Psalms 106:37-38 They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons, (38) And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.
The Israelites turned away from God and began to worship other gods, including Molech to whom they sacrificed their children. Sacrifice to the god Molech was a gruesome affair. Infants and small children were taken and cast alive onto a huge brazen statue of a sitting man with a bull’s head with his arms outstretched. The statue was glowing red hot with white hot fire coming from his open belly. Children were cast alive into Molech’s open superheated arms. The sounds of the musical instruments and the screaming of the crowd drowned out the baby’s horrible screams. The screaming child could be seen writhing in torment. After a short while the writing stopped and child succumbed to the intense heat. The body of the child burned and shriveled as it did so. Soon it had shriveled so much it fell through the arms into the fire in the belly of the statue where it was reduced to ashes.
A very similar thing happens when an abortion procedure called aspiration, suction aspiration, suction curettage, or vacuum aspiration is performed. The abortionist expands the vaginal canal with a speculum to enable him to observe the cervix. He then dilates the cervix with special graduated size dilatation instruments. He then inserts a vacurrette or a vacuum tube that is attached to a vacuum pump with a hose into the uterus through the cervix. The tube has a sharp edge on it for dismembering the fetus–without anesthesia, I might add.
The suction tube is then applied to the body and appendages of the still living fetus and literally cuts and sucks pieces of the body, amniotic fluid, and placental material out of the womb. Normally the fetus remains alive as the feet and legs are cut and sucked away, and then the torso is sucked out piece by piece. While the fetus is still alive and when the suction begins, the baby tries to move away from the instrument. As the tearing off of the limbs begins, ultrasound shows the baby screaming in pain and writhing in agony. The scream is silent but it happens, just as the screams of the babies sacrificed to Molech were silent because the screams were drowned out by the drums, horns, and crowd noises.
Our land is polluted with the blood of 57 million and counting helpless human beings purposely killed in the most gruesome way in the womb.

There are other ways we are defying Yahweh. A few of them are: transgender behavior; illicit sex (which is any sexual intercourse outside of a marriage between a man and a woman, including homosexual relations and promiscuity); usurious interest on loans; different laws for the powerful elite and the common folks; lying; chasing after money and power to the detriment of others; forcing Christians to do things that are against their conscience such as forcing the Little Sisters of the Poor (Catholic Nuns) to provide abortifacients or forcing Christian bakeries to promote gay marriage on their cakes or forcing Christian ministers to perform gay marriages (this will be their next assault on Christians); as well as a number of other things.
Every sin one can imagine is now considered our “right” to participate in. We don’t recognize the all-powerful God of the universe. We worship things other than God. We dishonor our parents and elderly. We lie, cheat, steal, murder, and commit adultery. We covet what others have in a way that motivates our greediness. All of these things are justified as acceptable.
That even applies to murder. We allow riots that kill people and destroy property of others, and do not prosecute or even pursue those that did the destruction or killing. We say that those riots are the right of the people to exercise dissent. The US Constitution says that Congress shall make no law that prevents “the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Notice the word ‘peaceably’ in the text. Riots are not peaceable. All of these things are occurring regularly because we have removed God from our society.

Who are these nations (The Greek and Hebrew words rendered “Gentiles” literally mean nations) today? The nations of Islam. Yes there may be a few “moderate” Muslims. However any true Muslim who adheres to his or her religion is called to kill the infidels if they will not convert to Islam. That is a simple fact. It is not ‘radicalized Muslims’ that kill infidels; it is any Muslim who sincerely practices his or her faith. The fact that our politicians and leaders do not acknowledge that the religion of Islam is our enemy are either blinded to the truth or they are complicit in the deception that Islam is a peaceful religion.
Muslim immigration surges are how they have inundated Western Europe (nations who have already fully rejected God) and are now in the process of taking over the USA. Nations the world over have turned against us. Our enemies are threatening us. This is because we have turned against God. Our sins have reached to Heaven and God’s wrath is being kindled against us. God is right now in the process of giving us into the hands of the nations and those nations are Muslim nations. If we do not repent of our sins and turn from them, we will be ruled over by a people that hate us.
Psalms 106:42 Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were brought into subjection under their hand. (44) Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, When He heard their cry; (45) And for their sake He remembered His covenant, And relented according to the multitude of His mercies.
The USA has already been invaded. Our borders are open and the invaders have poured across them. Even so, there is still time to repent and turn away God’s wrath. Unfortunately our leaders have led us to believe there is no real threat. Many Americans have bought this lie. There is only one way to stop the invasion and toppling of our country and that is to repent of our sins, turn away from them, and believe God so that He will relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish.
Jonah 3:4-10 And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day’s walk. Then he cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; do not let them eat, or drink water. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish? Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.
